Have you experienced this? When I go from on to off and experience stiffness freezing and rigidity. Sometimes if I don't take another dose of c/L about 30mins later I'm back on. Can someone explain this to me?

C/L on off periods
I'm no expert, but perhaps it's not an "off", but levadopa induced freezing of gait. Others may be better able to explain, but you may find this article is relevant.parkinsonsnewstoday.com/new...
Unfortunately, I cannot explain but I can definitely relate. I will take a 24-36 hour break from c/l and find many of my symptoms disappear and my tremors are less frequent and less intense. I feel like this is done by design, causing a need to take additional doses and or increase mg per dose so our bodies rely on it it more and more. It's a love/hate with c/l for me; when I'm on I have little or no symptoms but when I'm off it's really bad, full body tremors, legs are stiff, rigid body, almost every symptom of pd you can think of. Drives me crazy!
something that has been helping me absorb my levodopa carbidopa/Mucuna better is that I take Now brand super enzymes a few times a day generally before I eat. It’s not foolproof, but it definitely helps.
this is of interest to my husband. He asks, how and when do you take your medicine?
Also, he wonders how long before eating do you take the enzymes?
I use to monitor that and it didn't matter much. So just eat when I'm hungry with out considering my medication

My guess is that it has something to do with food.
