Too much B1?

I place a question mark as it’s not absolutely true but after having no supplements nor B1 for 5 days now following many members advice, I’m delighted to report no total exhaustion spells. But my money is on the B1. Lesson learnt. Be careful out there!

A general indication of too high of a B1 dose if stopping B1 for 3 to 5 days improves a symptom such as fatigue. You may find the following useful in understanding this effect of B1 on symptoms after extended use :

I was severely constipated three days after taking the sublingual pill B1

I can relate to that actually 🤔

In my opinion, B1 mononitrate sublingual tablets should not enter the stomach through saliva and should only be absorbed under the tongue.

That’s what I was doing. Ended up in bad shape sadly 🤔☹️.

Of course, this is my opinion and it may be wrong, but overall vitamin B hcl is better and more natural than synthetic B mononitrate

glad you're feeling better, that total exhaustion is hard. Are you following the B1 protocol from the book or are you on their FB page? It's really helpful if you want to keep going with thee B1. Page moderators can guide you and advise.

I was under the supervision of Dr Constantini many years ago. He started me on 4k, took it up to 7 at some point and then reduced it to 1k. At this point I thought it was bs, but Daphne Bryan swore by it. When DB wrote her book I bought it and agreed with Daphne to go via the sublingual route which she pioneered. I guess I’ve been on and off 100mg for the last 3 years? Never makes me feel any better if I’m being honest, but certainly over the last 4/5 months made me feel worse 😂. I guess one needs to be careful about the amount of a dose. The thing is that the 100 mg is nothing compared to the 4 k of stuff I used to take back in the day? I’ll start again at some point when I manage to find that book of Daphnes!

All the best

Btw: conversation between me and George Harrison once:

GH ‘so who are you then?’

Jeeves ‘a guy who screwed his life up trying to follow you’.

GH Smiles 😎

Daphne reduced the strength of B1 down and the frequency of it, only takes it twice a week now.

Very interesting interesting. How was Dr. Constantini administering B1 for you at those high levels?

Yes this post is helpful, we also took a break from B1. Somewhat less fatigue so far.

GOOD MORNING MY BROTHER I WAS SEARCHING FOR SOME ADVICE ON TAKING B1 THERAPY .

I’m not really the guy to ask to be honest. I’ve always taken it but have never felt that it had much of an effect on my symptoms. I believe that there’s an efficient and well managed Facebook page on the topic? I wish you every success!
