you have a problem with oats?
Oats is supposedly a high carb whole grain...
High carb = high glucose = high insulin
LAJ12345 Only for the reason that   JayPwP has noted. I love Oats, but I am genuinely unsettled by the rapid rise in my blood glucose levels I can visually see thanks to my Continuous Glucose Monitor.
I don't understand why Oats are considered to be heart-healthy. At some point, I will have to wean away from the grain
I avoid all grains except for a small portion of brown rice one a week. youtu.be/Faup23zVDJU?si=fmr...
Why would you want to eat grains? Glutenfree is needed to heal the gut lining (leaky gut). Oats should be organic and preferably sprouted to have the antinutrients out (that block mineral absorption in the gut)
The ideal diet does not exist, and for some people, consuming a variety of more than 20 different whole grains can provide a wealth of nutrients and promote a healthy gut flora. Additionally, consuming a variety of whole grains can help maintain a healthy gut. The fibers found in whole grains act as prebiotics, which support the growth of beneficial bacteria in our gut, promoting digestive health. Unfortunately, this is not the case for all, but that doesn't mean the rest of us should deprive ourselves of this important and enjoyable variety in our diet.
