My husband has PD, has no tremor, has become slower in every way, walks forward, and as of March we started B1.We started on a low dose and when we were on 2000mg last month I didn't think anything was improving at all. He had started drooling. I later read that Dr Constantini started with a high dose and then reduced it.

We have gone up to 1000 mg and I am keeping a close eye on my husband.

No idea if the drooling is a progression of PD or due to overdose.

Yes, but I still don't know if B1 is the reason......

As far as I know, there are two B1 therapies: HDT (Dr. Constantini) using as much as 4000 g a day and B1 therapy developed by Dap1948 (actually not sure if she developed it, but she has a book and Facebook group), which uses tablets at a much, much lower dose.
