Thanksgiving has been particularly stressful after diagnosis. During the early years I could fake it and survive. In recent years I have been "blessed" with the Covid pandemic and have not had to show up in person.
Now I am stressed out again for next week. I am curious to hear what you expecting and planning for next week. For those of you who are in the USA of course.
BTW, I believe that Canadian Thanksgiving is over. Any insights from north of the border is welcome.

Guess am not the only one, in reality most people (even regular Dr) couldn't tell on pd characters, you just need to have excuses ready. For example, your gait problem is cause by back pain or hand tremor is cause by too much caffeine, trust me only us and neurologist can tell who has Pd.
I agree--TG stress is real. Strangely, this year, I'm scheduled for the first DBS surgery the day before Thanksgiving, staying overnight. Not unhappy about being unavailable for traditional observations. Dear friends will bring celebratory food. Deep gratitude pervades the season; Gratitude and sorrow, remembering those who experienced incredible loss from the historical event.
