Hi,

I am looking for walking exercises to strengthen the synapses in the brain. Does anyone have a good link for that? Thank you.

My best walking exercise is to simply walk. Some days it is really hard and my body does not want to do it. But after I have been at it for a while I am walking almost normally.

I agree. But when I stop at a traffic light, how do I start again? How, after turning left or right, if your leg gives you the feeling of being stuck to the floor, how do you understand which leg you have to continue with, and which one to push off or lean on? What is the strategy? When learning to walk again (to do it consciously) one should know. How to learn to walk consciously by knowing the rules of walking?

Hello there. I was advised to try Nordic walking . The poles are a great help for balance and freezing issues. Also they give your arms a good work out too. Try talk a friend into coming along. You tube has videos on the technique.
