it sounds like you are doing very well and enjoying life.
I recently researched inspiratory expiratory exercises against resistance. I was a little disappointed in the data in some ways. But it did help sleep apnea, hypertension for inspiratory, and swallowing difficulties with expiratory.. I took my BP and found BP dropped with inspiratory training, but went up immediately after expiratory training. Just mentioned that because some people have hypotension with Parkinson’s.

Live with intent. Do as much as possible to slow the progression of PD. Keep the body moving each day per one's ability. Keep the mind going. Laugh. Find joy each day.
Good for you doing an 8K. 👍
Very well written and insightful. Regarding your sleep issues, have you read Art's (Chartist's) posts regarding melatonin? I take a high dose every night and my sleep has improved considerably.

Thank you for your honest and amusing sharing Lovely how to learn to, sometimes, dance lightly with parkies ..
