Tremor Better, but not Eliminated....
I take one-half a sublingual 100 mg tablet twice a week. I've been doing this for a couple of months now. It has helped my essential tremor, making it easier to write, etc., but it has not gone away completely. I'm hoping it will improve even more with time.
How did you arrive at that dosage? Thank you.Wolf
My partner, Bill, takes 50 mg (half tablet) B1 for PD every other day. He has had trouble getting the dosage right. Dr. Costantini, the one who pioneered B1 therapy, made a small study with two patients who had ET using an injection of 100 mg twice a week. I wanted to follow the doctor's example but Bill's experience made me conservative. Therefore...half a tablet twice a week.
Dose is different for everyone seemly without rhyme or reason. It's not base on weight, not based on age, not based on how long you have PD. Join Facebook Group -- facebook.com/groups/parkins...
My sweet spot is 1100mg of Thiamine hcl every morning. Basically start low and increase slowly
Not PD but essentially tremor. Using 100mg B1 sublingually 3x a week and also B12 shots Fairly minimal with this regime.
