I ordered and have received prescription drug ALINAMIN F (5mg and 25mg) from Japan. It is Fursultiamine (another name for TTFD) as fursultiamine hydrochloride. I have an email stating that the hydrochloride comes off during digestion leaving the active ingredient TTFD for use in the body. I ordered, then had to send a wire transfer before they would ship. Currently there is a 33 dollar shipping fee due to fuel prices. I am not sure what normal shipping would be. Wire transfer fees was a few dollars using a service online. mimaki-family-japan.com/ite...
That TTFD page is impressive. I wonder if you could take the 50 mg capsule and dilute it in water to get smaller doses? That is what I do to reduce my Prozac dose.
Never thought about dilution with water. As long as it's all water soluble, it should work. I say all because to make the TTFD fill a capsule, they mix with something.
The contents of a TTDF cap taste awful with an after taste that is even worst. Might make some very bad tastings water. I was making my own caps to get it pass my taste buds.
Following High Dose Thiamine Protocol (B1 Therapy), I am increasing the dose. Currently cutting a 25 in half plus a 5 (17.5mg a day). From my experience with the 50mg caps, my target might be 20mg.
