dyskinesia after 3 years on sinimet as well depression and anxiety. Initial diagnosis October 2018 with resting tremor in right leg

Tremor responded well to sinimet 2018-2021have been on Vilazadone for depression and anxiety with good results since June 16 th

Neupro patch since September 22. Less amplitude more frequency with right leg tremor, other motor symptoms more noticeable . Vilazadone 40 mg (manageable nausea ) recently increased Neupro to 6 mg. Nausea is limiting activity, no vomiting but upset stomach dizziness worsening after 11 days. Any advice about how long to give side effects to wane or reduce back to 4mg with more manageable side effects.

Why are you not doing Fast Walking, it has no side-effects and it reverses the Pd symptoms, as confirmed in the Mayo Clinic Report in 2019.

I try to thanks though John. How do you measure your cardio fitness? Do you have a specific program you follow??I would be interested in hearing about it.

Hi Miranda

I have never worried about my heartrate, because if I can walk fast there is nothing wrong with my heart! To do the fast walking successfully you must only walk as far as you cvan at you fastest possible speed and when you are unable to maintain that pace, then you stop and record your time. Then walk every second day to that same point and stop and record your time. At the beginning of the third week, you see how ar you can walk before you can't walk any further at that speed and then STOP! Measure your time every walk and record it in a logbook. After three months you will be amazed at how much faster you are walking. When you are walking for one hour then stay at that TIME and continually try to go faster, all the time recording your results. That mental boost you will get will be the best medication for PD. It will, make you more positive and healthier.

Try to get someone else to walk with you, but don't hold back if one of you is faster than the other. It will still be doing you both a lot of good.

Good luck.

Try to take something for nausea. In some days it will disappear even with neupro therapy. I stopped neupro because it was not effective for me.

Hi I took neupro for 8 years and the nausea diminished, somewhat. Ondestron ( not sure if this is spelled correctly) helped.
