neupro patch

My father was on 6 mg of the patch, and it was the highest dose. He was having a lot of hallucinations, and they were very very bad. His doctor took him off the neupro and raised his carbidopa levodopa weekly to 2000 mg/day. He had no withdraws and did very well. Not sure if this will help but his hallucinations disappeared.

Been on those patches for a year, they cause me unpleasant side effects, tried to come off them but feel awful, can I just raise my leva dopa?

you should definitely discuss this with your doctor. Can you go on the patient portal and message your doctor? Ask him to take you off of them and give you an alternative.

wow! that's amazing!! so great to hear he doesn't have hallucinations anymore. i see you posted this 7 months ago, is he still hallucination-free now?
