I share your concern about long Covid, and it's potential to seriously impact the health and quality of life of far too many people. I would be interested if anyone on this forum has had post-Covid brain fog, and if they also use a trans-cranial red light device, as I wonder if red light might help with the brain fog.

Does anyone have any experience in this area? I have not seen anything about this, either positive or negative.

Personally I am not surprised by this post viral neurological problem because I believe I got PD from the Epstein bar virus (with other contributing factors). This is not a new thing. It’s just getting so much more attention now because there’s more people struggling with it.

I’d be curious to know how many of those people they are talking about in the study had the Covid vaccination.

This is exactly why neither myself or my husband with Parkinson's haven't been vaccinated and pretty sure we've had covid with no problems recovering. What I've read is if you have any kind of inflammatory issues getting the vaccine can exasperate the problem. I think we are just beginning to see the results.

I had complete remission of PD after each of 4 shots. It lasted around 2 to 4 days.

We had covid before the vaccines available and my HWP symptoms where worse for about 8 weeks and then went back to his baseline. Covid is very strange indeed, while symptoms may be classified as "flu like" there are too many neurological symtom too. It does effect the brain and example would be losing sense of taste. We did not have that symptom. Covid truly effects people differently.
