Got this in my inbox this morning and was intrigued by it. Here is the link:

Is Copper Culpable in PD (Medscape Article)
I use to take a zinc tablet with copper in it till I read something similar. Also use to take a calcium tablet till I read alpha synuclein is made up mostly of calcium.
Excess copper maybe but copper is also an essential nutrient in the right amount.
2/10 compounds contained copper. 8/10 didn’t then?
Presumably nearly 10/10 were organic compounds containing carbon, oxygen and hydrogen ? Except eg copper sulphate?
But you wouldn’t avoid organic compounds.
What are the other common features of the pesticides, it might not be the copper.
We really are made of dust aren't we? But I guess with things out of balance there's a price to pay. The study is not complete so it might be awhile before there's anything to say. (I don't have PD by the way but like to keep in touch.) Dignosed with something else.
