What is the evidence that a sugar-free diet improves the symptoms of Parkinson's? In particular, is there any evidence of beneficial effects for balance-related problems?

It sounds like limiting sugar is more helpful for some of the other issues

What effect does sugar have on Parkinson's?

Increased sugar consumption was associated with an increase in non-motor symptoms, including poorer quality of life, increased constipation severity and greater daily levodopa dose requirement.
