The video lists a couple of dozen references. I looked at a few of them- it looks like researchers are using the compounds in this fruit as a jumping off point to experiment with newly synthesized related compounds. It is interesting but if they find anything useful it will take more than 10 years to come to fruition. Meanwhile, interested parties will not want to consume this fruit unless they wish to worsen their condition.
