When are you going to be qualified for the PD?

In my understanding, PD is a point based system disease.

Lets say you need 1000 points to show PD signs and symptoms. It can be as early as 30 to late 90 depending on when you reach that 1000 points.

300 points for genetics

Lets fill other 700 points with all other root causes .

Stressful situations in life: 200 points

Diet and level of physical activities:200 points

Environmental toxins: 200 points

Head trauma: 100 points

We can break these categories to subcategories like for diet and level of physical activity : high sugar diet, sedentary lifestyle, low vitamin d,etc…

As soon as you earn that 1000 points you are in.

I will give physical head trauma (a.k.a brain injury) 500 points relative to the others. Seems you're underestimating the effect of brain injury on causing PD

I would suggest two additional categories: TMJ/extensive dental work and recreational drug use.

Are you suggesting cannabis can cause or trigger PD?

I was thinking of cocaine and others, not cannabis.

Anything that over-sensetize the central nervous system through a process called wind-up, leaving the involved part of the nervous system in a state of high reactivity can contribute to reaching the destructive point.

I agree with Grumpy my HWP has no genetics for PD. Significant head trauma in youth 500 points, too much stress and overeatting with lack of good cardio. Stress exacerbates symptoms. Never really drank, no smoking or recreational drugs. I wonder if a person's natural outlook on life (being negative or positive) impacts anything related to PD.

Any points for previous viral infection? Can't help wondering if mine is related to being ill in the 2009 flu outbreak. Symptoms started about 10 years later.

Vertigo and hearing loss were my earliest symptoms along with most of the above.
