Yesterday I had an annual follow up with my Cardio Doc. I first saw him when I closed my clinic 3 years ago when I was so light headed that it was impossible to maintain a schedule.
He pursued various test that included a tilt table blood pressure test where they use nitroglycerin while going from supine to upright. I passed out earning the diagnosis of neuro-cardiogenic syncope. It is an autonomic dysfunction associated with PD.
I also pursued Psychologists which confirmed depression and anxiety. The combination of all 3 diagnoses allowed me to receive disability without an attorney.
Anyone else have similar experiences? Any solutions? Walking seems to help me the most.
