I've had Parkinsons over 14 years

i tend to lean alot back and to the left

what can I do to sit n bed

Leaning to the side is called Pisa syndrom. I think it is a dystonic reaction due to a shortage of dopamine. I can reduce, but not eliminate, it by taking more levodopa.

Try using extra pillows - one behind your upper back and one under your left elbow.

hi having had Pisa syndrome for a few years(to the left) I found it difficult at meal times .Less of problem when fully medicated.However have recently seen neurophysiotherapist who has given me a variety of exercises and this has made a surprisingly big difference

I am lucky I could afford to see privately as not available locally on NHS .
