Interesting. I have a vibration plate (LifePro brand) but I haven’t been using it lately. I bought it mostly for pain relief.

Btw, LifePro is significantly cheaper than PowerPlate. Wonder if there is a significant difference in quality/effectiveness.

I actually bought a cheaper plate (spent around $299) so i could use it at home. The settings were too strong and it turned out to be inferior to the true Power Plate. With this cheaper plate I actually felt dizzy —a little vertigo — after using it for short times.

I now belong to a gym that has a Power Plate. Much smoother, less noisy, feel great after using it. Unfortunately to buy one is thousands of dollars but using one at my gym especially for warm ups and cool downs works for me.

I have ben exercising using Powerplate for at least two years, 1-2 times a week and the effect was without comparison the best way to improve strength, mobility, posture and balance. You can do all exercises that you normally can do on the ground with better effects in shorter time. No risk of injury. You should get instructions from an educated instructor and after that you can do it yourself.

Unfortunately covid closed down my center and I am trying to find a new place.

Now I’m line dancing, having Feldenkrais and normal physical exercises at a rehab gym.
