Does anyone have any experience with this protocol or just using a metronome for better walking and gait compensation.

I’m slightly embarrassed to be plugging my book but in it I discuss the research looking into using a metronome and better still, music, for walking to. I explain how music activates an alternative part of the brain which isn’t compromised through Parkinson’s and which will get you walking better. I explain how to find which speed of music is right for you. The book is on US and U.K. Amazon. It’s called “Music as medicine, particularly in Parkinson’s”
Yes. I had forgotten! It was enormously helpful when a young physio tried it out when I was admitted to rehab after a fall! Early on in the journey.
Interesting because yes! Music makes a HUGE difference for me when I walk. As long as it has a beat, I find it keeps my walking nice and rhythmic. (And here I thought I discovered that :o)
