These lists include anything anyone has ever experienced, including gross overdosages and unrelated events. Conflating the unrelated with the actual muddies the water. I cannot help but wonder if that is the purpose of such lists originated by pharma. Sites like askapatient.com/ are better sources.
Thanks for sharing. Some of the information is confusing. I'm on 1 c/l (25-100mg) every 8hrs. Iv have developed some involuntary movements which start about 21/2 to 3 hours after taking a pill. Not extreme but noticeable. After that it usually doesn't occur until the same time after the next dose. Any thoughts? I think it's too high a dose of c/l. 1 neurologist thinks I'm underdosed and recommends amantadine. I don't like the possible side effects. I'm currently experiencing some dry mouth and some skin issues. Having labors surgery this week.
Can't speak to the skin issues. But, when I start feeling that dry mouth and involuntary movement, I know I've accidentally overdosed on the c/l.
I think it's too much c/l. I'm just afraid if I cut the dose -not sure how to do it. One neurologist said to cut the pill in half and take them every 4hrs. Then I'm short for bedtime.
Not sure I'm following you, so bear with me. Let's say you wake at 6am and take your 1st dose, the 2nd at 2pm and the third around bedtime at 10pm (for example). To follow the Dr.'s advice you would split your pills and take them at 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 10pm and then set your alarm for 2am to take that last 1/2. Am I understanding the Dr.? If so, I would split the first 2 pills of the day, take them at 6a, 10a, 2p, 6p which should give you a more even effect. Then I would just take the whole third pill at bedtime (10pm) and sleep through the night. If I've misunderstood, please set me straight ☺️
Sorry so long to reply. I believe you would know how it worked the first day.
