Control freaks. Thin skins, along with the modern personality disorder style of liberalism, like histrionic personality or other forms of Cluster A (think DSM or ICD10) behavior by the moderators. Solves nothing and suggests immaturity in the moderators' professional development. Ignore it, personality is typically durable and resists change unless IQ is relatively high. Just let it pass, you can't effect a change anyway, you don't control the website. They're going to want their pieces of silver some way anyhow, and feel a need to be needed...even if they aren't...when they get it, like my Samoyed puppy, they get their bone and will go back to the background to chew on it quietly until they need another. If I remember right, you were a Vet, so you get the idea.
