A neuroscientist says that chocolate has polyphenols that cross the BBB to protect neurons in the brain.

"The flavonoids in dark chocolate also induce the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which is a protein responsible for neurogenesis."

90% dark Lindt chocolate is one of my treats. Looks like maybe I can have a square a day. I also make fat bombs using dark chocolate powder, but at the moment, I can't find my recipe.

If you drink coffee, add 1-2 tsp of organic cacao to your coffee grounds and make it as usual.
