Improvement in general well-being.

Yes! No gluten, no dairy, no sugar, no red meat. I would add reduced fruit as most fruit is very high in sugar. Prioritize berries bc they are very healthy.

Yes went to low carb diet a couple of years ago and doing well. I have really good energy and don’t suffer from feeling drained or sleepy after eating .

I don't worry about carbs, but do no gluten, no dairy, no sugar. I eat a bowl of blueberries every night and drink 4 oz of pomegranate juice daily. I've been dx for 5 years and on this diet for over 2 years. I lost 20 lbs (which I needed to loose) in my first 6 months of eating this way and have maintained my weight since then.

I have cut out processed sugar, gluten and dairy as prescribed by the Wahl’s diet. I have been on this protocol for about 130 days. Along with intermittent fasting, I feel I have made a lifestyle change and I can’t imagine going back. There have been several noticeable health improvements: right side neuropathy is gone, I have even energy throughout the day instead of crashing several times a day and the intermittent fasting helps with controlling protein interference with meds. One issue is that I have to watch weight loss.

No gluten, limited dairy, no added sugar, and limited red meat, but lots of veggies is what works for me— meds work better and longer, less dyskinesia, less stiffness and freezing, more energy. When I started being intentional about my eating, I also lost 20lbs. I would like to say that I’m super disciplined in my diet, but I’m not. The great think about using diet to manage your symptoms is that the body, in my experience, responds very quickly to small, incremental changes.
