If you are newly diagnosed then it likely that stress could be causing your insomnia. If you are taking any PD meds they are likely to cause constipation. A byproduct of that can be heartburn. Anti-acid tablets or indigestion tabs may help. As you are a self-confessed DQ I wont mention anything else!.....If it was a heart attack I don't think you would be sitting at your PC. Alternatively you could ring NHS Direct for advice, available 24/7
lol thank you told you i am drama queen. consipation was a prob but ive cured that much to my sisters disgust on facebook lol... my compulsive behaviour seems to be this site and facebook. not what i planned.... brain scan is next stage for me have you had this, my friends dad has and said its not pleasant

I had a DAT Scan last Dec , its ok not bad at all, they just inject some radio active shite in to your blood stream leave it for a few hrs then have the scan, so nowt to worrt about.

Not to damper heart burn but you may want to check with DR for acid reflux, my husband has that quite bad and over the counter stuff didn't work. There is always something popping up with the PD patient as each one is different, no two cases alike. Read up on PD and ask questions, learn all you can and if there are support groups in your area they are helpful also.
