Home-cooked meals, fresh fruit, non-fried fish, nuts, wine, and olive oil are associated with fewer PD symptoms over time.

Thank you to Dr. Laurie K Misch for sharing her work on PD and nutrition with the Parkinson's Secrets blog, and providing these very informative graphs!

Looks more like income, lifestyle and education to me rather than food. People eating more fish fruit and veg are more likely to have better education and income allowing a better lifestyle generally, with superior medical cover, leisure etc,and therefore better outcomes.

A lot in the red have sugar, dairy , and plastic (can liners or containers). And meat that might eat gmo crops or sprayed crops. All processed by a human or animal (meat/dairy).

All in the green are plant based pretty much unprocessed except oils and wine which are minimally so.
