What can be done or used to fight the fatigue of PD. I'm new in this disorder and have no resources to answer questions. Thanks.

Solutions to fight fatigue
I take Amantadine, 25mg twice a day as syrup. To much and get anxiety. Has worked for me for over a year. Hang in there. I know the fatigue is tough.
I find the more I exercise, the more energy I have. I used to have difficulty walking to the end of the driveway. Over the past two months, I've been wearing earbuds and playing my favorite upbeat music (Motown) a little louder than normal, then I walk in time to the beat of the music, singing along. I am now able to walk for about a half hour at a quick pace. I keep track not by distance or by time, but by the number of songs I've played. Eight songs equals about 30 min and about 3,000 steps. I do four songs out, turn around and do four back. I'm working my way to up nine songs. (Thank you, Smokey Robinson!)
thank you.
ritalin or adderall or the very expensive modafinil are what ive done.
Also address the issue of sleep as this affects energy. Try to get 7 - 8 hours of good sleep.
Supplements for energy include the adaptogen Rhodiola. Coenzyme Q-10 and PQQ address mitochondrial decline.
I agree with SonarsMom, try to get more exercise even though the fatigue makes it tedious.
