I suffer from the Pisa Syndrome (a lean of the upper body to the left or right) and from a stoop (a lean forward). A side effect of this is that I get a bad back when I walk more than 5 miles.

I have written an app that detects a lean using the in-built accelerometer of of a smart phone. The app only runs on a Android phone using Chrome. The smart phone is held in place on top of the head under a tight ski hat. When a lean is detected the phone makes a noise to encourage you to straighten up.

To be fair I have been disappointed with the effectiveness of this app: the user experience is not great, so I don't use it often,

There are similar commercial tools on the market, but I don't know how effective they are.

I found an article that tells about the visual effects from PD. silverliningsandparkinsons....
