I'm supposed to start taking sinemet CR 50mg but need to know how will affect me...

Although lots gets written about side effects, snd they can be a major problem, many people get none. My Dad takes Sinemet with absolutely no adverse effects and huge benefits. I'm pleased to say it's pretty much the same for me on pramiprexol which I started 3 weeks ago

I wouldn’t equate sinemet to pramiprexol. Two very different medications with entirely different effects and side effects. Two weeks is not enough to notice the side effects of pramiprexol. Be weary.

Helps with my nighttime RLS. Take regular Sinemet during daytime.

I was Dxed 3 years ago, put on 1x 12.5/50mg three times a day, but last month was upped to 1x 25/100mg three times a day. as my tremor was getting worse. New dosage levelled out the tremor and I have never had any side effects at any stage. Good luck and in the words of Hill Street Blues, "Stay safe out there".

Taking only sinemet CR since diagnosis 5 1/2yrs. Progression of symptoms but not problems with the drug, although in my experience seems to be a bit more affected by timing with food consumption. Everyone is different though and hopefully you'll feel the benefit.

I have been Taking Sinemet CR 200/50 for 2 years and I think its wonderful I don't notice any side effects I was on plasin Sinemet before and I have found the CR to be much better as it lasts longer
