Help for hands

This is not about tremors but recently my hands have gotten so weak that screwing jar caps or even holding silverware to eat is tough. I also have some arthritis so hard to do the hand exercises I see on line. Any ideas for help?

ladyaudree,

A friend with arthritis in his hands, found it helpful to soak his hands in a solution of 20 Mule Team Borax and warm water once per day for lasting relief within a month. I don't know if it works for everyone, but if you google arthritis and Borax, you will find a ton of information about it. I use Borax myself to keep my arthritis in remission for well over a decade now. My friend said he was going to give it a try since a box of borax only costs about $5 in the laundry aisle at your local store such as Target or Walmart or similar. Here is a link to the product :

Another item which has given a friend with arthritis in her hands and feet very significant relief very quickly is magnesium chloride oil or mag oil (MO). It comes in a spray bottle and is not expensive. It can help more than other magnesium supplements because it can reach local tissue levels that are higher than oral supplements. My friend told me that she just sprays it in her hands and rubs it into her hands and feet and feels relief in minutes. She was unable to go for her daily walks any more, but since using MO, she is able to go for long walks everyday again!

Here is a link to a product that I am not recommending, just using for illustrative purposes. I recommend that you read many of the product reviews to give you an idea of everything that people use MO for! :

Several forum members have reported that the MO also helps for muscle cramps in legs, feet, arms and hands while relieving some types of joint pain.

Best of luck to you and if you decide to try either or both of these products, please share your results or lack of results with the forum as others may read your reply and find a viable option to help them also!
