Calcification in brain may be PD or Fahr disease. Since symptoms of Parkinson's and Fahr disease look quite similar only the neurologist can differentiate between the two.
I have calcification in globus padilli detected through PET scan and my doctor confirmed PD .
In the internet, a research study says that the Bisphosphonate drugs or called bone drugs are useful in decalcification of brain.
I don't know whether it can be trusted or not. Has anyone used these drugs as per the doctors' recommendations? If yes , what is the recommended dose and duration .what is the result?

The body has special biochemical machinery that transports calcium out of the bloodstream into the bones. When the nutrients required for that biochemistry are in short supply calcium ends up getting deposited all over the place. This includes in the arteries were it causes hardening of the arteries, and on your teeth where it is called "calculus".
The nutrients needed are vitamins D and K and the minerals boron and silica. These nutrients improve bone strength, reduce fracture risk and prevent hardening of the arteries. In so doing they result in better outcomes than both bisphosphonates and statins. I wrote about this in detail, with journal references, here:
