Leaning sideways??

Has anyone started to lean to one side? My husband is favoring the right side. He cannot sit upright nor walk upright. I don’t know if he’s broken a rib or something in his back. He cannot feel pain.. Have shown his docs several photos. They cannot do anything.

my husband leaned to the right, his affected side. It was most notable when he fell asleep in his chair. He leaned over so far at times, I thought he'd fall out of his chair.

I suffer from it too. It is called Pisa Syndrome.

I find it is reduced by levodopa. Walking with a ski pole on the lean to side helps too. After rest much of the lean goes away.

I've written an Android app that measures how far off centre you are, and when it detects a lean or a stoop it informs you by vibrating. It is available free at:

To run the app you put your smart phone under a tight ski hat or cricket hat.

I find myself wanting to do that, lean to the right, my most affected side, when I'm very tired or my meds are not on. I don't worry about it. It's pretty minor in the banquet of worries we've been given with PD.

Yes. Can’t sit on a dining chair without arms.

Me too ...

Part of it was that the right arm was set much Lowe... it's. better now that we fixed it, but I still fall to the right especially if I am fatigued.

Yes, my dad and it got very bad in the last few months, he was fine before, but it's painful for him and he doesn't rest. :(
