My husband started on 3gm and now 1.5g. If he needs to reduce again. How much should he?

Doctor Costantini's site says to go down by half:

highdosethiamine.org/

But personally at this point I would just reduce by 500 mg.

Does he stop taking the drugs for 8 days before he reduces the dosage?

My husband went off the B1 for a week the first time before reducing.

Just yesterday, instead of taking 2 B1's in am and 2 B1's at lunch time - I reduced the lunchtime one down to 1 B1 without going off the drug. Will see how this works out.
