Parkinson’s Dr.
Although he is Italian like me, I didn't know him. I read that he is a great neurologist expert in PD and in particular in diagnosis and treatment of dystonia. It would be great for you to be able to meet him. If so, could you share your impressions?
His website page contains a lot of information. The first portion - he sounds a little bit like a commercial - I might give him a call - my family lives on LI. Wonder how much he charges. Sometimes drs who have offices in Manhattan are overly expensive. Insurance wouldn't cover his services for us because he's out of network. He doesn't mention insurance …
I was talking to friend who lives in Las Vegas and has friend that has Parkinson’s. I asked what kinds meds he was on and ask him who is Dr. was. he said he didn’t really know, but he said he thought he’s from New York. So I called Dr.Fazzini office. The woman I spoke to says, he does go to Las Vegas every month or so. She ask me if I wanted to see him. I said what kind of insurance he takes, she said she wasn’t sure. and gave me a phone # to a office in Las Vegas. My friend in Vegas been trying to get me to come out and stay.
He loves DAs! Very informative.
Dr. Fazzini writes: "The Treatment of Parkinson's Disease is an art ...". I think it refers to this definition of art: "A job done with responsibility and so much care and competence that when people see it, they recognize that it is a work of art as it is well done”.
I like to think that doctor and patient form a team that work shoulder to shoulder against the disease without any other purpose.
