Does anyone know about any possible link between PD and the development of glaucoma?

Consider:

Ramirez AI, et al. Front Aging Neurosci. 2017.

Google has more. Try:

I have never thought of any link, but about 8 years ago I had 'acute glaucoma', which is more unusual. After some undiagnosed intermittent visual symptoms over several months, I suddenly lost vision in one eye. Had an emergency laser op the next day and have had no glaucoma since. Was lucky that there was no damage to the optic nerve and my vision was restored. Wasn't diagnosed with PD until a few years ago.

I have noticed my vision rapidly changing the past few months. Your post has convinced me to stop procrastinating and see a doctor. Thanks
