Cognitive development

We so often focus on medication and physical exercise only for slowing down PD progression, but what about including cognitive development?

What do people do for their cognitive development?

For me I still enjoy coding, so I've got a couple projects I'm working on

For those not into coding other suggestions are

chess, writing, art work, business projects and probably more

Grumpy, I see you're interested in coding. To see some of the things that I've done, please see my website:

parkinsonsmeasurement.org

Perhaps we could collaborate on a project writing free programs to help PwP.

Good stuff.

It occurs to me it would be very beneficial to combine thiamine dosage status with test results. Particularly for patients just starting thiamine treatment this could objectively measure improvement.

Great idea!

I will check on your website shortly. I will PM you after I've checked your website so we could chat more

Looking forward to this

Some people use colloidal gold for the purpose of cognitive development/improvement. Studies are very limited, but some people find it useful. I made colloidal gold nanoparticles as one of my experiments, but only found it useful as a sleep aid.

I always look at what I've just done trying to improve it, and I'm not a fixture of always doing new things. I like traveling and meeting people who are all fantastic. Maybe ...

And of course physical exercise has been found to be very beneficial for our brains. When I was doing my boxing class I found it very challenging as I had to remember the moves and to duck when necessary and keep moving around, kind of like a dance. Exercise gets the blood flowing and hence more blood to the brain.
