Because we should all take our advice from a sound bite from Fox Business news. Please delete this trash.

“We found 86 percent of people are taking supplements and only about a quarter of those people actually need to.” Even if "Dr. Mike" is right, I'll go out on a limb and suggest that PwP are among the 25% who actually need vitamins and supplements...😊

If they make you feel better, vitamins and supplements are welcome.

This post is indicative of the fact that the out of control and truly dangerous pharmaceutical industry wants to get rid of supplements. And that is the sad state our medical establishment is in.

I agree with park_bear. Anytime you see the words "Fox News," it'll be just another know nothing, talking head spewing gobbledygook. Their specialty.

I actually read the 1st paragraph. Now, I'm upset with myself. There's nothing I can do to get that 30 seconds back.

Any doctor who calls themselves "Dr. Mike" does that because no legitimate medical institution will employ them.

I just watched a show about multiple kinds of animals (monkeys, macaws, wild hogs, etc.) that supplement their diet with a mineral rich clay in the forest. How do they know to do it. Instinct. Some search out supplements that are natural remedies as well. If they can why can't we? I agree we can overdo it but I do need supplements. Sometimes it's a bit of trial and error but I doubt I've hurt myself doing that.

Warnings help us to be careful of some kinds of vitamins that can be harmful if overused and we can Google those warnings if we're not sure. I found out I was taking too much B6 because it came in a larger dose than it should have so we can't always trust the makers of such vitamins. Research is the key.
