The limitations of the study were the essential oil was complexed with cyclodextrin, so the essential oil itself was not enough. Also, the study was done in a mouse model that was not necessarily reflective of human idiopathic Parkinson's. I have seen many such studies of various substances that seemingly help mouse models of Parkinson's. That is merely an initial step. These substances need to be studied in actual human Parkinson's to get good data as to effectiveness. Link to study:
