Is that you, Lonnie? It is the judgment of others on this site that this individual is a quack.

healthunlocked.com/parkinso...

However, not content to take their word for it I checked out one of his Parkinson's videos on YouTube. He claimed a Parkinson's patient suffered from about a dozen different conditions including Lyme and other diseases, conditions affecting specific spots in the brain, and a variegated cocktail of toxic chemicals. All based on a single chiropractic visit.

Hello jdjunk, how you doing

My Name is John and i am new to this forum, thanks for your thoughts Re: Lonnie Herman my quest is to filter the logic from the illogical through sound reasoning and using the skills necessary to assess and evaluate information out there which hopefully provide a deeper understanding of what we are facing when having to live, manage and cope with a condition (Parkinson’s) that is quite controversial when spoken about in the context of reversing or curing this condition.

I am here on this forum because my partner has this condition and I am motivated to learn and understand from a community of people whom are living with this condition or know someone who is living with Parkinson’s.

I believe in finding the root cause s of a problem and starting there in order to determining the outcome/ result so therefore for me managing symptoms and control is short term only, once it has been identified the potential causes and the damage has been located, I believe you have a point or points to place your attention on.

Ok now this leads me to my interest in both Dr Constantini and Dr Lonnie Herman for now I will leave the former for another discussion I won’t to focus my attention on Dr Lonnie Herman in contrast to both yourself and Park bear I have found Dr Lonnie Herman Knowledge and Understanding in Neuro chemistry and the biochemical and physiological processses that take place when compromised quite enlightening and educational I have been relentlessly surfing the web of late and for me Mr Herman and Dr Constantini give a clearer and more comprehensive understanding of what is going within your system that is producing the problems we face.

I unlike yourself and Park Bear do not view Mr Lonnie Herman practice title as Chiropractor with the skeptism or cynicism you may do, as I have seen and listen to much of his videos to know that this man can not be defined only as a Chiropractor. Furthermore I would like to know if there is anybody who has been to visit this man and wether they have been misled, deceived, or manipulated through claims made on the net. I would be keen to know.

In my opinion to know something has to based on evidence, experience, or reasoning.

Well okay then. Nothing wrong with soliciting first-hand reports.

Also, I love my chiropractor. If I take a spill and knock my vertebrae out of alignment she is unerring at locating the subluxation and putting it right.

Your statement amounts to saying: “Dr. Herman says he can so why don’t you believe him?”

How about you provide a single scientific link about what his theory on helping patients with PD is

In terms of relentlessly searching the web, I suggest you click on my avatar and follow one tenth of the research I have read to date. Better yet why not post on scienceofparkinsons.com and see what Simon says?

I’m sorry that you feel how you do, what you say is not very constructive considering we all have the same goal to combat this condition there is no room to for name calling and labelling people who one you do not know and seecondly who is trying work with others to find solutions.Your response seems more of an emotive one more than a dignified and reasonable one.

Relax and offer and a positive contribution and maybe your thoughts will create some unity and harmony with others

Furthermore Sunvox a welcoming introduction would show a spirited and friendly vibrration some can express this more easily than others I know however we are who we are on that note I look forward to any inspiring and positive contributions minus the assumptions. Thanks

Why not have a consult with dr herman personally and please report your opinion afterwards? He sounds very sure of himself in his YouTube videos.

Look, if there was a cure, every health care professional and non-profit entity in the world would be shouting it from the rooftops. If you want to pursue chiropractic to treat musculoskeletal pain, that’s within their scope of practice ( although I would argue that a physio would much better job of addressing the underlying asymmetry of musculature in order to prevent reoccurrence). Anyone selling supplements or other BS is a waste of time and money. Spend that money working with a trainer or a physio on developming and maintaining a regular exercise program. That actually has peer-reviewed evidence, large epidimiological studies with 1000s of points of data. Chiropractic? Maybe a case study, written by the practitioner (and likely as a marketing tool more than scientific contribution).
