May I ask a question?

If traits and health problems are transmitted to our children, it can only be those traits and health problems that existed in the parent at the time of conception. That means at a time, long before the parent might have developed Pd, or many other illnesses. Am I correct?

Yes, but ...

We have to take in consideration that how we treat our children (and what they finally transmit to our grandchildren) depends on who we are, which depends on our DNA as well

Yes! 100% yes. But what we do to cause our genes to mutate, before we conceive our children, will be passed on to them. Is obesity passed on in this way? Is smoking passed on in this way? Is alcoholism passed on in this way?

It makes us think, doesn't it?

But if they ate properly and exercised they may never know they are susceptible to it. It may have been lurking in the gene pool for generations but the modern lifestyle is just exposing it.

The best gift we can give our children is GOOD GENES!
