What product?
I follow Daniel Kalish, a functional med practitioner in NV. I watched his Neurotransmitter testing webinar Thursday night and he recommended the Designs for Health DopaBoost for the mucuna. It has more than L-dopa in it, but supportive amino acids and cofactors. Looked interesting.
Thanks to all who replied to my post concerning "Designs for Health DopaBoost ". I was attracted to it because it seems to combine the additional items (cofactors) that I am currently taking in addition to my Mucuna Pruriens. The chance to reduce the number of pills I have to take is always attractive to me!
My husband takes Mucuna Pruiens that we purchase from Swanson Vitamins online. 200 count of 350mg. He has taken these for 7 years. Have worked wonders for him.
I checked it out. Mucana plus b6. Contains 250 mg of levadopa
If you look at
catalog.designsforhealth.co...
you will see that it contains a lot more of interesting substances.
It looks quite similar to Silvestrovs recommendation. It would be interesting to get any idea how this formula could relate to a Sinemet or Madupar dose. Any conversion table?
What are co-factors?
I take Dopa Mucuna by NOW, 4 capsules every 3 hours.
Beckey are you still taking 4 capsules every 3 hours and if so how is it working for you? Do you suffer any nausea at 4 capsules?
Yes, I still am. It's not as effective as it used to be, sorry to say. But I don't get nausea, thankfully.
I just started using this, and so far it's serving me well. I like all the accompanying ingredients. Keeping my fingers crossed.......Merry Christmas !
