Coffee I guess I’m gonna have to get a new brand. For a couple of years I have been tapering off if not completely abstaining from coffee because it makes my trimmer worsen. I believed the caffeine was responsible but recently I had a reason to consume a caffeinated soda and that did not cause increasing tremors. Damn you Starbucks ! 😂

Was it a sugar free soda? The reason why I ask is because if you were getting sugary coffees at Starbucks, maybe the sugar's more to blame than the caffeine.
Well a Dr. Pepper and a Starbucks coffee are not really comparable at all when it comes to caffeine. Dr. Pepper contains 3.42 mgs of caffeine per fluid ounce or 41.04 mgs per 12 ounce can or 58 mg in a 500 ml bottle.
An 8 ounce cup of Starbuck's coffee contains 180 mg of caffeine!
A 12 ounce cup of McDonalds coffee contains 109 mg of caffeine. A 16 ounce cup at McDonalds contains 145 mg of caffeine.
Now I know why the line at Starbucks is always so long!

Coffee is a natural mao-b inhibitor, so it should improve symptoms. Too much coffee can give anybody tremors though!
Hi Buzz, Have you considered aroma as a factor which triggers any of your symptoms? A steaming cup of coffee gives off aroma, while a cold drink does not. After I lost my sense of smell I found myself pouring cup after cup of coffee, taking one sip, and abandoning the rest of the cup. It soon became obvious that it was the aroma, not just the caffiene I was craving.
Oh yes I do miss the smell of fresh coffee I might make some tomorrow morning just to smell it and then not drink it
