Quality of Supplements

To check whether the quality of herbal extracts and supplements Vary with the manufacturer, I ordered Mucuna , Ashwagandha and bacopa monnieri extracts of the same strength from 3 different vendors. To my surprise there was a huge difference in taste , smell and color. I also purchased the same raw herbs and made powder of it. The extracts from Chinese manufacturers deviated most

Yes, consistency between vendors and even by the same vendor when purchasing a different batch can be a problem. If I can find a standardized product I will buy it even at a greater cost.
