Anyone taking LDN (low dose Naltrexone) for PD? Any success?

I have been taking LDN for 3 months. It has solved my 25 year old chronic diarrhea but I can't really tell if it has helped my PD because I have had other issues in that period. Does anyone else have experience with LDN?

Yes, I have been taking it for about 3 years or a little bit more. I get the 50 mg Naltrexone and I dissolve it in 50 ml of water. Daily I use a dosing syringe I use 3 mg. It makes you emotionally feel better and it's also helps with the pain. You can stop at any time and see what kind of side effects it's been covering up. I keep the little jar in the refrigerator. I wash it out really well between the pills.

I did stop briefly to see what would happen and my diarrhea problem was back within two days so I am not keen to do that again. I have a general idea that it is helping pd a bit - my condition hasn't regressed much yet, diagnosed only 18 months ago. I don't know if that is from LDN of course, one tries so many things!

The idea of getting 50mg and sorting out the low dose myself is something I hadn't thought of. I live miles away from the compounding chemists and transport adds to the cost. So I will try that.

Thank you for your input.
