Roundup is the most widely used herbicide in the world. If toxic exposure isn't on your radar - it should be. Even if you're not a member of a high risk groups such as farmers and people living in rural areas, you are still being exposed through diet.
Roundup is sprayed on cereal crops (wheat, oat, rye, barley), tubers such as potatoes, sugar cane, soybean and many other crops as a "pre-harvest aid" to even the ripening of the crop. Crops are sprayed with Roundup just before harvest, which can and usually does increase yield (but Roundup can't legally be marketed this way), because the dying plant puts the last of its energy into maturing unripened seed. Glyphosate is taken up into the plant - it is systemic, therefore it cannot be washed off or cooked away. The crop contains high residue levels of Roundup. When you eat products made from GMO and non-organic plants you are eating weed killer.
The FDA is not monitoring the dietary intake of Glyphosate. The level of Glyphosate exposure through diet has been grossly underestimated. As a consequence there has been an explosion in neurological and autoimmune disease world wide.
Roundup has been linked to several forms of cancer by the IARC, part of the World Health Organization (cancer is an autoimmune disease). Cancer is caused by the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) it is what we call oxidative stress. This is the same mechanism for neurodegenerative disease processes.
Genetics load the gun - exposure pulls the trigger. But remember this: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A GENETIC EPIDEMIC. And neurological disorders, including Autism and Alzheimer's Disease, have reached epidemic proportions. The science is *unequivocal - these are environmental in origin.
Anthony Samsel and Stephanie Seneff have published a series of research papers, the reading is a little technical - but the average person will get the gist of their message. Here's a link to copy and paste, but it's just as easy to do a Google search.

I'll freely share my knowledge, but it's no substitute for your independent research. I'm not a medical doctor, I'm person who's been poisoned (documented) and developed neurological dysfunction (documented) as a result. You can't get a doctor to say it's a named disease when there is a history of toxic exposure. That would connect the dots, and no one but the patient wants this.
My goal is to inform and educate the public on how we are being serially poisoned, and the role our government plays to promote the agricultural chemical industry, and simultaneously suppress research information that would expose unreasonable environmental harm (FYI, people are part of the environment).
Please keep in mind that I too am struggling cognitively, and some days are better than others. I welcome your comments and questions!
