Ian.... I am currently on hold from my LSVT program due to limited success. I have similar symptoms to you but I have my DBS electrodes inserted in the globus pallidus internus. This is a a site that is better for non tremor PIGD symptoms.... or so I have been to told. Despite the speech difficulty I still think I am better off than before the DBS 3 years ago.

just got back online, my facial muscles freeze (not entirely at this point) after the first few words. I chew gum to loosen them up, helps a bit. speech therapy sounds like the way to go
