This site is more helpful than most doctors

Absolutely! Because we have to experience this disease, the effects of medicines, etc. as ones that have it, and only if you have it does one fully understand the full spectrum of living with Parkinson’s!

And a warm welcome to you, townsman! Which side of the Atlantic are you on? If you've been dealing with PD for 15 years, I'll bet you've acquired a good bit of knowledge about this disease.

Live in Ohio, USA. One thing I've learned is that we all may have PD and share common challenges...but also are individuals often with very different symptoms, reacting differently to meds, etc.

It seems like the PD Pandemic that I read about somewhere fairly recently is happening already. There are so many new people on the site. You seem upbeat and have had PD for 15years already. Some in our support group have had it 14 years and are doing well. It's encouraging.
