And notice they do not actually link any studies. In fact the only evidence they cite is the word of a researcher saying they have got something. There may be no evidence for the efficacy of this at all, other than in their imaginations.

Since I live within driving distance of GVSU, maybe I should go check this out! At my age, it won’t help me, having to wait fifteen years for something to come out. It’s great that maybe we can hope that research may be coming up with something to help with solving stopping neuro-degeneration in Parkinson’s! We all need to have hope!

The money grant is small potatoes. Fox News ?... just saying . In what publication are the results presented ? Oh wait it’s Fox News an in depth, reliable source of news... not.

Far be it for me to be the wet blanket, BUT, drugs thought to be a cure or at least a "new" treatment 25+ years ago have not come to fruition. That's when my husband had been diagnosed with PD with dementia. He died in October 2016 after a failed DBS and the same old drugs that have been around for decades. I take all of these reports, no matter who they are from, with skepticism and sadness. I have little hope that any of these discoveries will be of help to my 35 yo son, who has had "boomerang " PD with generalized dystonia for almost ten years.
