This is 20 questions time...What meds are you on? Do you exercise? Do you do meditation? Strenuous exercise may help your overall health. Meditation might calm you and help you relax. Try essential oils, read a book, take an Epsom salt bath with Lavender to relax you. A massage may help your muscles relax. Anything to help calm you. Good luck.

All of the above except the Epsom Salt. Most of my meds for sleeping problems have slowly been reduced, except Mirapex, which has been increasing. I’m also on a prescription night pill to relax and help me sleep.

But I’m up numerous trip to the bathroom and that’s about it

Epsom salts are a source of magnesium which is a key mineral for the brain in many ways, and is vital for sleep. Our soils are depleted and around 80% of us are deficient in magnesium, so many doctors say. It is a water soluble, our reserves are small, and blood tests not a good indicator (only 1% magnesium in the blood). ff you aren't supplementing it, one way or another, you might want to consider doing so.

Once I told you that I didn't mind being awake, in fact kind of enjoyed it, it started bothering me. Funny, typical of human nature. So, I am awake again but have just taken half a Xanax hoping that will help quiet my spinning mind. Reading something slightly boring is helpful for me sometimes. Time for a 3 a.m. hobby, I guess. Something besides eating... Although now that I think of it...

After getting up and eating and then reading for a little while I finally got back to sleep but then woke myself up by yelling really loudly at about 7:30. Quite glad my condo is soundproof so I don't have neighbors knocking to see if I'm okay. At least I got some more sleep. Every night is an adventure... I could do without.

Oil painting is fun.

Dont fight it , make the best of what time you have. Quiet peaceful and no one making demands at 3 am , unlike 3 pm when you are having a nap. Nap was prescribed by my Dr so I never miss it. This is the same Dr. who prescribed a couple beers a day , I like him.

Oh if you do get a hobby, remember quiet, no power tools

That’s funny ! I thought if I didn’t nap during the day I would sleep at night.
