First let me reiterate that I am not a Schill for the Marijuana Industry and had ( perhaps to a my detriment ) some pride issues to the fact that I could say I have never tried it. In researching the past for Parkinson's treatments I found that Marijuana has been long prescribed as a treatment. I had come to the end of my rope and tried M.M.
Let me start off by saying that these are the benefits ( ME.MYSELF. and I ) have experienced with M.M.
1st - major reduction in pain.
2nd - muscle rigidity greatly improved.
3rd - major anxiety calmed.
4th - sleeping through the night.
I have found M.M. to have the biggest benefit for my personal symptoms.
Unfortunately everyone is different but I personally believe and would fight to have M.M. as another tool to fight the symptom on slot of Parkinson's.

I am thankful that my state of NC currently permits CBD oil to treat children with epileptic seizures. I am outraged that our state's elected lawmakers turn a blind eye to the rest of us in pain. Thank you for your post. Marijuana so far as we know is a safe and effective treatment for an array of symptoms.
Thanks for your post. I wonder if you can tell me what type of Cannabis you are using and how you are ingesting it.
I have a medical prescription and have tried a number of different oils (sublingual) and "buds" ( inhaled with a vape). However, this has been a costly experience and unsuccessful. I thought the clinic doctors would be recording results to help patients, but that appears not to be "reality". I was told I should simply try different types. I have yet to find one to help with tremors. Now I find myself poorer and with so much of this "stuff", one would think I was selling it.
Serenity are you using a high cbd or thc cannabis? If you can provide me with the name and or percentage of cbd thc, I can try again. Only this time, not so blindly.
I have found that the cheapest way to medicate with cannabis is by using concentrates. That is the future of medical uses. I was surprised by how much an ounce of fresh flower is both in cost and in volume. I felt like a drug mule when I purchased my first once. There are both gram concentrates in syringes ( activated ) $ 50.00 and a product called shatter ( inactivated ) on sale for $ 40.00.
The Ideal way to ingest M.M. would be in a very diluted in food or an oil (coconut oil). I found that a heaping tablespoon in the morning kept me going for a day. I am now making tinctures out of them. One tincture is a 50/50 split CBD to THC and one tincture is a rich Indica ( my favorite is Northern Lights ) to add the extra THC that I need to deal with the pain.
My husband has tried many forms of marijuana, vape pen, edibles, High CBD etc. What works as good as any for him, is the pot my son grew in my Dad's old darkroom.
The problem with "Mary" is she has been rode by every man in town and has a bad reputation. Most images of people using M is a stoned red eyed man with dirty clothes setting in a filthy alley. I say this because this is the image i have in my head. I guess i am a product of government propaganda. Alcohol is the most abused drug in the world and should be a controlled substance. It will kill your liver hell it will kill you if you use enough. But it is a excepted by most people. As for me i get upset at my kids if they drink any alcohol and they both over 40 years old.
This is from the CDC
Drinking too much can harm your health. Excessive alcohol use led to approximately 88,000 deaths and 2.5 million years of potential life lost (YPLL) each year in the United States from 2006 – 2010, shortening the lives of those who died by an average of 30 years.1,2 Further, excessive drinking was responsible for 1 in 10 deaths among working-age adults aged 20-64 years. The economic costs of excessive alcohol consumption in 2010 were estimated at $249 billion, or $2.05 a drink
Although in moderation alcohol can be good for you. Beer especially can raise uric acid levels - which helps parkinson's. And the hops can be beneficial too.
Endocannabinoid system - A communication and regulatory system in all vertebrate organisms, named after the cannabis plant and its unique cannabinoid constituents. It includes messenger molecules, receptors, and enzymes distributed throughout the body, with the purpose of maintaining balance and health of the individual.
Endocannabinoid receptors - Cell structures that act as specialized gatekeepers or locks. When they are unlocked or activated they regulate or allow specific changes in the cells, tissues, system, and body.
Cannabinoid 1 (CB1) receptors - Receptors that are located most densely in the central nervous system. They are located most densely in the central nervous system. They are associated with the regulation of activity within the brain and spinal cord.
Cannabinoid 2 (CB2) receptors - Receptors that are located throughout the body most densely associated with the immune system and the regulation of immune responses such as inflammation and cell turnover.
Endocannabinoids - Natural molecules made by the body that unlock or activate cannabinoid receptors. Phytocannabinoids found in the cannabis plant mimic their activity and activate the ECS.
The stuff just makes me dizzy. I loved it in college, but everything has changed!
